Bachelor of Pharmacy
The Bachelor of Pharmacy is a 5 (five) academic year programme that has several modes of entry applicable to potential students:

  • Direct (Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education) Entry
  • Entry vide A-Level (For East African Applicants)
  • Entry vide Diploma in Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Technology (PPB Credit Waiver Policy)
  • Entry vide Higher National Diploma (PPB Credit Waiver Policy)
  • Entry vide a Diploma or Degree in Biological or Health Sciences

Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology.
The Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology is a three year programme.

BACHELOR OF PHARMACY (B.Pharm)
 MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS PROGRAMME DURATION  TUITION FEES 
KCSE (Direct) Entry: Mean Grade: B- With C+ in Mathematics/Physics, Chemistry/Physical Science, Biology/Biological Science, and English/Kiswahili. 10 Semesters USD 1,300 per semester
A-Level Entry: Minimum of two principal passes in Biology and Chemistry, and a Subsidiary Pass in Mathematics or Physics. 10 Semesters USD 1,300 per semester
Diploma in Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Technology Entry:

  • The Diploma should have been obtained from a PPB accredited Institution;
  • KCSE Mean Grade C with C in Mathematics/Physics, Chemistry/Physical Science, Biology/Biological Science, and English/Kiswahili.
  • Enrolled as a Pharmaceutical Technologist by the PPB.
(Subject to the PPB Credit Waiver Policy Guidelines) USD 1,300 per semester
Higher National Diploma in Pharmacy Entry:

  • The Diploma and Higher National Diploma should have been obtained from a PPB Accredited Institution;
  • KCSE Mean Grade C with C in Mathematics/Physics, Chemistry/Physical Science, Biology/Biological Science, and English/Kiswahili.
  • Enrolled as a Pharmaceutical Technologist by the PPB
(Subject to the PPB Credit Waiver Policy Guidelines) USD 1,300 per semester
Holders of a diploma or degree in Biological or Health Sciences. 10 Semesters USD 1,300 per semester
Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology (DPT)
KCSE Mean Grade C with C in Mathematics/Physics, Chemistry/Physical Science, Biology/Biological Science, and English/Kiswahili. 9 Trimesters USD 360 per
